ahaha, that sort of happened to my ex-roommate. the artist didn't know though. she thought she got it translated correctly to say 'music is the highest of the arts', but she found out afterwards that it actually read 'music is the tallest of the arts'.
They have some funny t-shirts with similar sayings on them, though I've lost the bookmark for the sites. One had generic people icons (bathroom door type) with a person holding onto a subway railing and another with their hand on them (shorter person) which said "beware of perverts" in japanese.. they also had "stupid white man" and "slutty white woman" and "I'm a bigmouth american" etc.
